Who’s The Man, is an installation of more than a 1000 brilliant hand painted enamel panels, each containing a word or a phrase used to describe a ‘man’. Part encyclopaedic survey, part decorative texture, and part navigational instrument to help the bewildered male plot his way through the gender landscape…
The installation will be on view at The Exposure Gallery, London between 5-28 January 2011. For sale alongside the installation will be a range of prints and limited edition boxed sets of different groups of types – Good Guys, Villains, Lovermen, Big Shots, Gays etc.
Limited editions include boxed sets of 4 hand-painted panels, framed sets of 16 hand-painted panels, and Giclee prints. There will also be a number of special exhibition editions of hand-retouched prints, including 23ct gold leaf details. During the show, orders will be taken for custom, personalised sets of panels – order a “Word Portrait” of the man in your life…
